Choose to Fight

Before:

It can feel easy to ease up or give up when a competition gets challenging. You’re not performing as expected, you make a big mistake, you fall behind. Decide before the competition that no matter what happens, you'll keep fighting. Make that commitment before a competition presents you with challenges. You’re more likely to fight if you have already committed to fighting.

During:

Every mistake, setback, or challenge you face becomes another opportunity to give up or keep fighting. Stay motivated, committed, intense, and focused, and refuse to let one difficult moment determine the rest of your performance.
