Leave it All Out There

Before:

Your goal isn't to guarantee a result; that’s not possible. It's to finish knowing you gave everything you had physically and mentally. Make that commitment before the start: “I’m going to leave it all out there and know at the end that I couldn’t have done anything else.”

During:

Whenever fatigue or doubt appears, remind yourself that your goal is to leave it all out there. If you accomplish that goal you won’t feel regret after the competition. Keep competing hard to the finish.
