The Saturday Evening Post published my latest column, 5 Building Blocks to Positive Life Change. I began this series of SEP columns with the 4 Obstacles to Positive Life Change in which I described how healthy transformation cannot occur if four barriers block the path to the changes you want to make (baggage, habits, emotions, environment). This column explores, as the title indicates, five building blocks that act as the foundation for meaningful change in your life. Before you can take action on making changes in your life (that will be discussed in my next column), you must set the stage for change by establishing these five aspects of positive growth (epiphany, emotions, courage, leap of faith, resolve).
