Over the last few years, I’ve established great relationships with some outstanding sports companies. I’ve partnered with them because they embody what I value most in sports-related products: innovation, superior quality, and leading-edge performance.

In today’s installment of Meet My Partners for 2022, I am thrilled to introduce you to SLF Motion, a company that designs and manufacturers the highest quality cycling drivetrain upgrades (over-sized pulley wheels, ceramic bottom bracket). SLF stand for Smoothest, Lightest, Fastest. I think they should add a ‘C’ for Coolest too!

I discovered SLF Motion in 2021 as I was searching for ways to make those marginal gains that can make the difference on race day. Over-sized pulley wheels (OSPW) and a ceramic bottom bracket for my new triathlon bike were a priority. There are other bigger names in this space, but, as I compared products and read reviews, I knew SLF Motion was for me! What sealed the deal was, when I called SLF Motion, Blake Young, the founder and CEO, answered the phone.

Since I made the switch from traditional pulley wheels, I’ve noticed an increase in my wattage during both indoor and outdoor training rides with no increase in perceived effort. I recently raced on the SLF Motion Evo Aero System (see image) at the USAT Age-group National Championships in Milwaukee and was 5^th/89 in the Super-Sprint in my age group, qualifying for the  World Championships in Hamburg, Germany, in 2023. My bike split was faster than expected and I attribute it to the SLF Motion Evo Aero System.
