Over the last few years, I’ve established great relationships with some outstanding sports companies. In today’s installment of Meet My 2023 Partners, I don’t introduce you to a company that designs and manufactures exceptional sports gear, but rather to an individual who “designs and manufactures” exceptional endurance athletes. I’m talking about Dr. Greg Rhodes, a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology, an internationally recognized authority on endurance-sport training, and an accomplished endurance athlete himself.

As some of you may know, in 2019, I re-entered the triathlon world after an 11-year hiatus. I created my own training program through the end of 2020 with decent, but not spectacular, results. Given my passion for and commitment to being the best triathlete I can be, I knew I needed professional help to reach my goals. I had met Greg through my ski racing work and, with his credentials and accomplishments, I knew he was the one to take me to the next level. I’ve been working with him since December of 2020 and the fitness gains I’ve made and the results I’ve produced at national and international races under his training plan have been nothing short of remarkable, not to mention how much I’ve learned from his expertise and experience.

I can say without hesitation that I wouldn’t have won a bronze medal in my age group at the World Triathlon Championships in Abu Dhabi in November of 2022 without Greg’s coaching.
