I’ve been involved in a FIS-driven project that brought together an international group of experts from every field related to ski racing performance to establish protocols for injury prevention, treatment, rehab, and return to snow.
We have developed a Needs Assessment Questionnaire that we are trying to get out to as many Snowsport stakeholders as possible.
The Athlete Health Unit (AHU) of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) has made it a priority to disseminate relevant knowledge on effective injury and illness prevention.
The target group of the questionnaire are snow sport athletes, coaches, team staff, equipment experts and officials working at regional to national youth or junior development levels in all snow sports regulated by FIS (Alpine Skiing, Freestyle Skiing, Snowboarding, Cross Country Skiing, Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined). The survey takes about 15 to 20 minutes to complete and can be accessed by clicking on the link below:

All responses will be collected anonymously and only members of the project team will have access to the survey data. Any resulting reports will contain only anonymized summary data.
This is your chance to help shape the future of snow sports and help protecting the health of snow sports athletes around the globe.
On behalf of the project team and the FIS AHU, we thank you for your participation.
